Junior Accountant

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Accountant to support our finance and accounting team. The role involves handling day-to-day accounting tasks, maintaining accurate financial records, and assisting in preparing reports to ensure smooth financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Record day-to-day financial transactions in accounting software.

• Assist in preparing invoices, bills, and payments.

• Maintain and reconcile bank statements, ledgers, and accounts.

• Support in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

• Assist with GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance filings.

• Verify expense claims and process reimbursements.

• Coordinate with vendors and clients for payment follow-ups.

• Support audits by providing necessary documentation.

• Ensure timely and accurate data entry and record keeping.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field.

• 6 months–1 years of experience in accounting.

• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and taxation.

• Proficiency in MS Excel; knowledge of Tally/ERP or other accounting software is an advantage.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.
