Junior Accountant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will assist in managing daily accounting tasks, maintaining financial records, and supporting senior accountants in preparing reports. This role is perfect for someone looking to build a strong foundation in accounting and finance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and ledgers

• Record daily financial transactions and update accounts

• Prepare and process invoices, bills, and payments

• Reconcile bank statements and company accounts

• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports

• Support audits by providing necessary documentation

• Ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations

• Help with GST/TDS filings (if applicable)

• Maintain proper documentation and filing systems

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• Basic understanding of accounting principles and standards

• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks)

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Good analytical and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
