Junior Accountant

Job Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to support our finance team. The ideal candidate will assist in maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring accuracy in day-to-day accounting activities. Key Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and ledgers.

• Prepare and process invoices, payments, and expense reports.

• Reconcile bank statements and company accounts.

• Support month-end and year-end closing processes.

• Assist in preparing financial reports and statements.

• Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable records.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

• Handle data entry and maintain proper documentation of financial transactions.

• Assist with audits and tax filings as required.

Qualifications and Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (B.Com preferred).

• Experience: 0–1 years of experience in accounting or a similar role.

• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.

• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or similar).

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Effective communication and organizational skills.
