Job Description – Accountant (Tally Expert)

Designation: Accountant – Tally Expert
Department: Accounts & Finance
Experience: 2–5 Years
Location: Nagpur, Maharashtra

Job Responsibilities

• Maintain daily accounting entries in Tally ERP 9 / Tally Prime.

• Handle sales, purchase, payment, receipt and journal entries.

• Manage GST entries, GST returns coordination and reconciliation.

• Prepare and maintain bank reconciliation statements (BRS).

• Handle accounts payable and receivable.

• Maintain ledgers, vouchers, invoices and other financial records.

• Assist in TDS calculations, deductions and related compliance.

• Prepare outstanding reports and assist in monthly account closing.

• Coordinate with auditors, vendors and internal departments.

• Ensure accuracy of financial records and timely completion of accounting tasks.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of Tally Prime / Tally ERP.

• Good understanding of GST, TDS and basic accounting principles.

• Knowledge of MS Excel and accounting documentation.

• Experience in bank reconciliation and ledger management.

• Accuracy, attention to detail and time management.

Educational Qualification

• B.Com / M.Com or equivalent qualification in Accounting or Finance.

Preferred Candidate

• 2–5 years of relevant accounting experience.

• Practical experience in Tally and GST-related work.

• Immediate joiners preferred.
