Position: Junior Accountant

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Junior Accountant to support our Finance & Accounts team. The candidate will assist with day-to-day accounting activities, maintain accurate financial records, perform reconciliations, and support monthly and annual closing activities.

Key Responsibilities

· Record day-to-day accounting transactions, including sales, purchases, expenses, receipts, and payments.

· Prepare and post journal entries accurately.

· Maintain Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) records.

· Perform bank, vendor, customer, and ledger reconciliations.

· Assist in preparation of monthly financial reports and statements.

· Maintain proper documentation and accounting records.

· Verify invoices, bills, vouchers, and supporting documents.

· Assist with GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance activities as required.

· Support month-end and year-end closing procedures.

· Coordinate with vendors, customers, banks, auditors, and internal departments when required.

· Identify discrepancies and assist in resolving accounting issues.

· Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of financial information.

Required Qualifications

· B.Com, M.Com, or degree/diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

· 0–2 years of relevant experience; freshers with strong accounting fundamentals may also apply.

· Good understanding of basic accounting principles.

· Working knowledge of Tally / ERP accounting software.

· Good knowledge of MS Excel.

· Basic understanding of GST and TDS is preferred.

· Good numerical and analytical skills.

· Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

· Good communication and organizational skills.

· Ability to meet deadlines and work effectively in a team.
