Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Junior Accountant to support our Finance & Accounts team. The candidate will assist with day-to-day accounting activities, maintain accurate financial records, perform reconciliations, and support monthly and annual closing activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Record day-to-day accounting transactions, including sales, purchases, expenses, receipts, and payments.

• Prepare and post journal entries accurately.

• Maintain Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) records.

• Perform bank, vendor, customer, and ledger reconciliations.

• Assist in preparation of monthly financial reports and statements.

• Maintain proper documentation and accounting records.

• Verify invoices, bills, vouchers, and supporting documents.

• Assist with GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance activities as required.

• Support month-end and year-end closing procedures.

• Coordinate with vendors, customers, banks, auditors, and internal departments when required.

• Identify discrepancies and assist in resolving accounting issues.

• Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of financial information.

Required Qualifications

• B.Com, M.Com, or degree/diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• 0–2 years of relevant experience; freshers with strong accounting fundamentals may also apply.

• Good understanding of basic accounting principles.

• Working knowledge of Tally / ERP accounting software.

• Good knowledge of MS Excel.

• Basic understanding of GST and TDS is preferred.

• Good numerical and analytical skills.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Good communication and organizational skills.

• Ability to meet deadlines and work effectively in a team.
