Job Title: Junior Accountant

Job Summary:

A Junior Accountant supports the finance team by maintaining financial records, processing transactions, and assisting in daily accounting tasks. This role is ideal for someone starting a career in accounting and looking to build practical experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Record daily financial transactions in accounting software

Maintain purchase, sales, and expense entries

Prepare and process invoices, bills, and vouchers

Handle accounts payable and receivable

Reconcile bank statements and ledgers

Assist in GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance work

Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records

Support senior accountants during audits and financial reporting

Prepare basic financial reports and summaries

Coordinate with vendors and clients for payment follow-ups

Required Skills:

Basic knowledge of accounting principles

Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Tally, Busy)

Good understanding of MS Excel

Attention to detail and accuracy

Strong numerical and analytical skills

Time management and organizational skills

Qualifications:

B.Com / M.Com / relevant commerce background

Experience: 0–2 years (freshers can apply)

Work Environment:

Office-based role in companies, firms, or CA offices

Standard working hours with occasional workload during audits
