Junior Accountant – Qualifications
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
0–2 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience
Basic understanding of accounting principles (GAAP or local accounting standards)
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general computer applications
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to organize workload and meet deadlines
Good written and verbal communication skills
Ethical approach to handling financial information
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with accounting software (e.g., Tally Prime & Tally ERP 9)
Knowledge of accounts payable/receivable and general ledger entries
Exposure to financial reporting or month-end close processes
