Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to support the finance team with daily accounting tasks and assist in maintaining accurate financial records. The ideal candidate will have basic accounting knowledge, good numerical skills, and the ability to work with accounting software and spreadsheets.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Recording & Reporting

• Record day-to-day financial transactions and post entries into accounting systems or ledgers.

• Prepare and maintain accounts receivable and accounts payable records.

• Assist in preparing monthly trial balances, simple balance sheets, and basic financial summaries.

Reconciliation & Compliance

• Perform basic bank reconciliations between bank statements and internal ledgers.

• Assist with tax-related documentation support (e.g., GST, TDS input tracking).

• Ensure documents and records are filed accurately and securely.

Support & Coordination

• Support senior accountants with budgeting, audits, and month-end close tasks.

• Prepare simple reports and summaries for management as needed.

• Liaise with internal teams for invoice approvals, payments, and documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field (B.Com preferred).

Technical Skills

• Basic working knowledge of Tally, MS Excel, and MS Office tools.

• Basic understanding of accounting principles & financial records.

Soft Skills

• Strong attention to detail.

• Good numerical and analytical skills.

• Good communication and ability to coordinate with teams.

• Willingness to learn and take direction from senior accountants
