We are looking for a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to support our finance department. In this role, you will handle day-to-day accounting tasks, maintain accurate financial records, and assist with monthly closings. Key Responsibilities
Your primary focus will be keeping our financial engine running smoothly. Core duties include:
Data Entry & Ledger Maintenance: Accurately post daily financial transactions to the general ledger and maintain up-to-date accounting records.
Accounts Payable (AP) & Receivable (AR): Process vendor invoices, match purchase orders, assist with billing, and track incoming payments.
Reconciliations: Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations to ensure internal records match financial statements.
Month-End Support: Assist the senior team with month-end and year-end closing processes, including preparing journal entries and accruals.
Expense Management: Review and process employee expense reports, ensuring compliance with company travel and entertainment policies.
Documentation: Organize and maintain physical and digital financial records, invoices, and receipts for easy retrieval during audits.

Minimum Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field.
Experience: 0–2 years of experience in an accounting or internship role (entry-level candidates with strong academic backgrounds are welcome).
Software: Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (familiarity with VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and basic formulas is essential).
Core Knowledge: Solid understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and basic bookkeeping.
Soft Skills & Attributes
Attention to Detail: High accuracy in data entry and a knack for spotting numerical discrepancies.
Time Management: Ability to meet tight deadlines, especially during month-end crunch times.
