Position: Junior Accountant

Location: Mumbai, Maharashtra (Malad)

Job Type: Full-time

Job Summary:

You will manage daily financial transactions and ensure accounting accuracy. This role

requires strong hands-on experience with Tally ERP and core compliance tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

Statutory Compliance

E-Invoicing: Generate and manage digital invoices per government mandates.

E-Way Bills: Create and track transport portal documents via Tally ERP.

GST Working: Prepare data and monthly worksheets for GST returns.

TDS Working: Calculate tax deductions on payments and maintain compliance sheets.

Core Accounting & Operations

Data Entry: Record daily sales, purchase, expense, and journal entries.

Bank Reconciliation: Match bank statements weekly to ensure data accuracy.

Accounts Receivable: Track pending customer payments and send regular follow-ups.

Accounts Payable: Monitor vendor invoices and schedule timely outgoing payments.

Documentation: Maintain organized physical and digital financial records.

Requirements & Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent.

Experience: 1–3 years of core accounting experience.

Software: Advanced, hands-on proficiency in Tally ERP and MS Excel.

Skills: Strong understanding of double-entry bookkeeping and Indian taxation.
