Job Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage overall GST compliance across the company.

• Ensure timely filing of GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9 and GSTR-9C, wherever applicable.

• Monitor GST input tax credit (ITC), including reconciliation with GSTR-2B, purchase registers and books of accounts.

• Manage GST audits, assessments, notices, appeals and departmental proceedings.

• Review GST implications on sales, purchases, interstate transactions and business contracts.

• Ensure compliance with e-invoicing, e-way bills and applicable GST regulations.

• Supervise GST reconciliations, tax payments, ledgers and statutory records.

• Identify tax risks, resolve discrepancies and implement corrective measures.

• Coordinate with GST consultants, statutory auditors and tax authorities.

• Monitor changes in GST laws, notifications and circulars.

• Guide the Accounts & Finance team on GST matters.

• Prepare GST compliance reports and present updates to management.

Preferred Candidate:

Candidates with experience in manufacturing, steel, trading or multi-location businesses will be preferred. Strong practical knowledge of GST compliance, audits, ITC management and departmental proceedings is essential.
