About us

The Print Shop is a printing and packaging manufacturer running a sheet-fed offset operation with in-house fabrication at our 6.4-acre Pataudi facility. We supply QSR packaging, monocartons, sweet and cake boxes, carry bags and festive gifting packaging, with volumes peaking sharply through the festive season.


We run our own ERP and MIS, built and maintained by a dedicated developer. This role owns everything between that developer and the people on the ground who actually use the system.

The role in one line

You make sure our ERP and MIS are accurate, adopted and actually used — by keeping the data clean, getting new features tested and rolled out, and making the system stick with factory teams.


Key responsibilities

1. Own the data entry function

• Manage, schedule and supervise the data entry team; set daily targets and turnaround expectations.
  

• Run accuracy checks and spot audits; own the quality of the data flowing into the ERP.
  

• Step in and do data entry yourself during peak season, absences or backlogs — this is a hands-on role, not a supervisory-only one.
  

• Track and clear pending entries so month-end and reporting are never held up.
  

2. Test and roll out new ERP/MIS features

• Test every feature the developer delivers before it goes live: functional testing, edge cases, and checking it against how the process actually runs on the floor.
  

• Maintain test cases and a defect log; sign off on releases.
  

• Plan and execute rollouts — data migration, user setup, cutover, and post-release monitoring.
  

3. Be the bridge to the developer

• Translate business problems into clear, specific requirements the developer can build against.
  

• Report bugs with proper reproduction steps, screenshots and priority — not "it's not working".
  

• Maintain the change request backlog and follow up until items close.
  

• Push back where a request doesn't make sense, and propose better alternatives.
  

4. Drive adoption with factory managers

• Work directly with production, stores, dispatch and QC managers to get the ERP embedded in their daily routine.
  

• Sit with them on the floor, understand where the system slows them down, and fix it — through training, process change or a change request.
  

• Chase down workarounds: if a team is running a parallel Excel sheet or register, find out why and close the gap.
  

5. Build SOPs and training material

• Write clear, screenshot-led SOPs for every ERP and MIS process, in language the shop floor can follow.
  

• Maintain training guides and run induction for new users; refresher sessions when modules change.
  

• Keep documentation current — an SOP that describes last year's screen is worse than none.
  

What we're looking for

Must have

• 3+ years working hands-on with an ERP or MIS in a manufacturing, distribution or similar operating environment.
  

• Strong Excel (lookups, pivots, data cleanup) and comfort working with large volumes of transactional data.
  

• Experience testing software and reporting issues in a structured way.
  

• Proven experience supervising a small team.
  

• Genuinely good written English/Hindi documentation skills — you'll be judged on the SOPs you write.
  

• Willingness to be on-site at Pataudi and on the shop floor, not behind a desk.
  

Good to have

• Exposure to printing, packaging or any make-to-order manufacturing.
  

• Basic SQL or report-building ability.
  

• Experience running a system rollout or module go-live end to end.
  

How you work

• Patient with non-technical users — most of your users are production people, not software people.
  

• Detail-obsessed about data accuracy, but pragmatic about what's worth fixing first.
  

• Able to hold your ground with both the developer and the factory managers.
  

• Comfortable with the fact that some weeks are firefighting and some are documentation.
  

What success looks like

First 10 days
Know every ERP module and every user; data entry team running with no backlog; documented list of the top 10 pain points.

First 90 days
SOPs published for all core processes; a working test-and-release routine with the developer; measurable drop in data errors.

First 6 months
ERP genuinely adopted across factory departments; parallel registers and shadow Excel sheets eliminated; a clean, prioritised change request pipeline.
