Senior Accountant – Job Description
Position: Senior Accountant
Experience: 3–7 Years
Qualification: B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter preferred
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain complete accounting records and books of accounts.
- Handle Tally ERP/Tally Prime, including ledger, vouchers, and reconciliations.
- Prepare GST, TDS, and other statutory reports.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable.
- Perform bank and ledger reconciliation.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Handle invoicing, payments, receipts, and expense entries.
- Assist with audits and ensure proper documentation.
- Monitor outstanding payments and follow up with customers/vendors.
- Ensure accuracy and timely completion of accounting activities.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of Tally and accounting principles.
- Good working knowledge of GST and TDS.
- Proficiency in MS Excel.
- Strong analytical and reconciliation skills.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to independently manage day-to-day accounts.
