Credit control Manager

We are looking for an Credit control Manager to join our team at Fast Transport Carrier Private Limited. (Traveling Must )

Key Responsibilities:

• Credit Risk Management: Evaluate new customer credit applications and set, review, or adjust credit limits based on financial analysis.

• Collection Strategy: Implement and oversee debt collection procedures to ensure timely payment of invoices.

• Team Leadership: Lead, train, and manage the credit control staff to achieve performance targets (KPIs), such as reducing Days Sales Outstanding (DSO).

• Account Monitoring: Maintain accurate records of customer accounts, monitoring debtor aging, and handling escalated, overdue accounts.

• Reporting: Generate and analyze accounts receivable (AR) and credit risk reports for senior management.

• Collaboration: Work with sales, legal, and customer teams to resolve disputes and enhance customer relationships

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Experience: Proven experience as a Credit Manager or Controller.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Accounting Software and MS Office, specifically Excel.

• Analytical Skills: Strong ability to assess creditworthiness via financial statements and reports.

• Communication: Exceptional negotiation skills for handling tough collection situations.

• Education: A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is often preferred.
