Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare financial statements (balance sheets, P&L), analyze data, and create performance reports for management.
Auditing & Compliance: Conduct audits, verify financial records, and ensure adherence to accounting standards and legal regulations (tax, revenue).
Taxation: Manage tax planning, prepare and file returns, and resolve tax-related issues for individuals and businesses.
Financial Advisory: Offer strategic advice on budgeting, investments, cost reduction, risk management, and financial growth.
System Management: Implement and maintain accounting systems, control general ledgers, and improve financial processes.
Team Leadership: Oversee accounting teams, guide junior staff, and liaise with clients and stakeholders.
Essential Skills & Qualifications
Certification: Completion of CA qualification/training (e.g., CPA, CA designation).
Education: Bachelor's degree (often in accounting/finance); Master's or Honors degree preferred.
Technical Skills: Strong grasp of accounting principles, financial software (ERP), analysis, reporting, and risk management.
Soft Skills: Excellent communication (written/verbal), problem-solving, integrity, attention to detail, and leadership.
