Key Responsibilities:
• Accounting & Bookkeeping: Maintain complete and accurate accounting records, ledgers, and financial statements as per company policy and statutory requirements.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports including Profit & Loss statements, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow statements.
• Taxation & Compliance: Ensure timely filing of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory returns; coordinate with auditors and consultants for compliance matters.
• Budgeting & Cost Control: Assist in preparation of budgets, monitor expenses, analyze variances, and recommend cost-saving measures.
• Vendor & Payment Management: Verify vendor bills, process payments, and reconcile supplier accounts ensuring accuracy and timely settlements.
• Payroll Coordination: Oversee salary processing, statutory deductions (PF, ESIC, PT), and coordinate with HR for payroll accuracy.
• Audit Support: Prepare and provide required data for internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
• Banking Operations: Manage daily banking transactions, bank reconciliations, fund transfers, and cash flow management.
• Inventory & Asset Accounting: Coordinate with Store and Purchase departments for reconciliation of inventory and fixed asset records.
• Team Supervision: Guide and support junior accounting staff in daily operations and ensure proper record-keeping and document control.
Qualifications & Skills:
• Education: B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) or equivalent qualification (mandatory).
• Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of experience in accounting and finance, preferably in a pharmaceutical or manufacturing company.
• Technical Skills:
o Proficiency in Tally ERP / accounting software.
o Sound knowledge of GST, TDS, PF, ESIC, and statutory compliances.
o Strong command of MS Excel, Word, and financial analysis tools.
• Communication Skills: Proficiency in Marathi, Hindi, and English.
• Analytical Skills: Strong understanding of financial data, cost structures, and reporting accuracy.
• Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple financial tasks with attention to detail and deadlines.
