Job description:
Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Conduct detailed variance analysis and provide actionable insights.
Oversee project costing, including tracking work-in-progress (WIP) and percentage-of-completion.
Manage project billing, invoicing, and cost ledger reconciliations.
Handle general ledger maintenance, account reconciliations, and fixed asset accounting.
Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely transactions.
Ensure strict compliance with GAAP, IFRS, and relevant tax regulations (GST, TDS).
Assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation.
Contribute to the development and monitoring of annual budgets and forecasts.
Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure accurate financial data.
Monitor and report on project profitability, identifying areas for improvement.
Implement and maintain robust internal controls.
Assist in streamlining financial processes and improving efficiency.
Mentor and support junior accounting staff.
Prepare and present financial reports to management.
