Position Overview
The Account Executive will assist in managing sales-related financial transactions, ensuring accuracy in billing, collections, and reporting. This entry-level role supports the finance and sales teams by maintaining proper records and contributing to smooth accounting operations.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Accounting: Record and reconcile daily sales transactions.
Billing & Invoicing: Prepare customer invoices and ensure timely dispatch.
Collections Support: Track payments, follow up with clients, and update receivables.
Data Entry: Maintain accurate records in accounting systems/ERP.
Reporting: Assist in preparing sales and revenue reports for management.
Compliance: Ensure adherence to company policies and accounting standards.
Coordination: Work closely with sales and finance teams to resolve discrepancies.
Audit Support: Provide documentation during internal and external audits.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, or Finance.
0–2 years of experience in accounting or sales finance
Basic knowledge of accounting principles and sales processes.
Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks, or ERP systems).
Strong numerical and analytical skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
