Key Responsibilities: Accounting & Financial Management • Oversee accounting data entries related to payments collected and payments made. • Conduct bank reconciliation for company accounts and personal accounts of Directors and their family. • Ensure ledger confirmations and tallying of various accounts. • Maintain up-to-date records of accounts payable and receivable. Taxation & Compliance • GST Filing & Reconciliation – Ensure timely filing, verification, and reconciliation of GST returns. • TDS & TCS Filing & Reconciliation – Manage TDS/TCS compliance and ensure timely payments and reporting. • Advance Tax Calculation & Income Tax Filing – Compute tax liabilities and ensure timely filing. • Finalization of Computation of Income – Prepare and verify income statements before tax filing. • Capital Gains Tax Calculation – Compute Short-Term and Long-Term Capital Gains Tax on all asset classes and investments. • Handle and manage Income Tax and GST scrutiny or audits. • Assist in bank audits and financial reviews. • Stay updated with news, latest tax rules, and laws to ensure compliance and strategic tax planning. Banking & Credit Management • Stock Statement Submission – Prepare and submit stock statements to the bank as required. • Managing Credit Limit Facilities & Renewals – Oversee the process of securing and renewing credit limits. • Handle communication and compliance for bank audits and financial scrutiny. • Conduct Credit Checks – Analyze customer financial statements to assess their creditworthiness before approving credit-based transactions. Financial Planning & Investments • Manage and Maintain Records of Stock, Mutual Fund, and Property Investments for both company and family assets. • Forecast liquidity of funds based on future expected cash inflows and outflows. • Advise on Fund Allocation – Recommend when surplus funds can be invested in liquid funds for growth. • Advise on Fund Shortages – Identify cash flow gaps and suggest fund arrangements from investments to meet accounts payable obligations. • Tax Planning & Optimization – Use creative accounting skills to identify all possible deductions and tax-saving opportunities. Financial Reporting & Coordination • Coordinate with appointed Chartered Accountants for book finalization and statutory audits. • Liaise with third-party accounting service providers for various tasks. • Work closely with the Company Secretary for compliance and regulatory documentation. • Ensure timely preparation of financial reports and MIS reports for management review.
