Job Description:
The Accounts Executive will be responsible for day-to-day accounting operations, statutory compliance, reconciliation, and supporting the finance team in maintaining accurate financial records. The role requires hands-on experience in accounting, taxation, and coordination with internal teams and external consultants.
Key Responsibilities
1. Accounting & Book Keeping
• Maintain day-to-day books of accounts in Tally/ERP.
• Handle cash, bank entries, and journal entries.
• Prepare and maintain Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS).
• Perform party ledger, vendor, and customer reconciliations.
• Assist in monthly and year-end closing of accounts.
2. Statutory & Tax Compliance
• Handle GST compliance, including:
o GSTR-1, GSTR-3B preparation and filing
o GST reconciliation
• Handle TDS compliance:
o Deduction, challan payment, and return filing (26Q, 24Q)
o Generation of Form 16 / 16A
• Assist in Income Tax, Professional Tax, PF, ESI, and other statutory compliances.
• Coordinate with consultants for assessments, notices, and filings.
3. Vendor & Payment Management
• Process vendor bills and expense vouchers.
• Ensure proper TDS and GST deductions on payments.
• Prepare payment schedules and support timely vendor payments.
• Maintain supporting documents for audit purposes.
4. MIS & Reporting Support
• Prepare basic MIS reports related to expenses, payables, and receivables.
• Support the Finance Manager in data compilation and reporting.
• Maintain proper documentation and audit trails.
5. Audit & Coordination
• Assist during statutory, tax, and internal audits.
• Coordinate with auditors and consultants to provide required data.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
Skills & Competencies
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles
• Working knowledge of GST, TDS, and Income Tax basics
• Proficiency in Tally, MS Excel, and ERP systems
• Good analytical and reconciliation skills
• Ability to work under deadlines and pressure
• Good communication and coordination skills
Preferred Candidate Profile
• B.Com Graduate with minimum 5 years of relevant experience
• Prior experience in real estate / construction industry preferred
• Detail-oriented, disciplined, and process-driven
• Willing to work in office and visit sites if required
