Job Description – Accounts Executive

Position: Accounts Executive
Experience: 3–5 Years,

Location: Delhi ,

Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Executive with 3–5 years of relevant experience and strong knowledge of accounting, GST, TDS and Income Tax. The candidate should be proficient in Tally, Advanced Excel and MIS reporting and capable of independently handling day-to-day accounting and compliance activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day accounting entries and maintain books of accounts in Tally.

• Prepare and file GST returns, including GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B.

• Reconcile GSTR-2B with books and purchase records and ensure accurate ITC accounting.

• Handle TDS calculation, deduction, payment and returns.

• Prepare and reconcile TDS receivable/payable and Form 26AS-related records.

• Assist in Income Tax compliance, including tax-related data and documentation.

• Prepare monthly reports, management reports and financial statements.

• Perform bank, vendor, customer and ledger reconciliations.

• Monitor receivables, payables and outstanding balances.

• Maintain proper documentation and records for GST, TDS and Income Tax audits.

• Coordinate with auditors, consultants, customers and vendors whenever required.

• Ensure timely completion of statutory and accounting-related activities.

Required Skills

• Tally Prime – Advanced

• Advanced MS Excel – Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, IF formulas, data reconciliation, etc.

• Strong knowledge of GST & GST Returns

• Strong knowledge of TDS & TDS Returns

• Good working knowledge of Income Tax

• Good knowledge of accounting principles and reconciliation

• Good communication and coordination skills

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Qualification

• B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter or equivalent qualification preferred.

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in accounts and taxation.

Preferred Candidate

The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, responsible and capable of independently managing accounting, taxation, compliance and MIS-related work.
