Accounts Assistant

Organisation is leading Packaging Industry located at Kathwada GIDC, Ahmedabad.

Required Education: B.COM with min 6 Months Experience as Junior Accountant Profile with Basic Knowledge of Account.

JOB Description:

Key ResponsibilitiesAccounting & Finance

• Maintain books of accounts and daily accounting entries

• Record purchase, sales, expense, and journal entries

• Prepare and maintain cash book, bank book, and ledger accounts

• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities

Billing & Invoicing

• Prepare sales invoices and purchase entries

• Track receivables and payables

• Follow up on outstanding payments with customers

GST & Compliance

• Prepare data for GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B)

• Maintain GST records and reconcile returns

• Assist in statutory audits and compliance requirements

Bank & Cash Management

• Handle petty cash and daily cash transactions

• Perform bank reconciliation statements (BRS)

• Coordinate with banks for routine matters

Vendor & Internal Coordination

• Coordinate with vendors for invoices and payments

• Support production and stores team for inventory-related entries

• Maintain proper documentation and filing
