Job Title: Accounting Assistant

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Assistant to support the accounting department with daily financial tasks. The ideal candidate will assist in maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with recording and processing financial transactions

• Maintain and update accounting records and files

• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions

• Prepare invoices, receipts, and payment vouchers

• Reconcile bank statements and financial data

• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual reports

• Organize and file financial documents for audits and reviews

• Respond to internal and external accounting-related inquiries

• Perform general administrative duties related to accounting

Qualifications and Skills

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or currently studying)

• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and procedures

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Good organizational and time-management skills

• Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information

• Strong communication and teamwork skills
