Job Title: Accountant Assistant
Role & Responsibilities:
Handle day-to-day accounting entries using Tally Prime.
Perform bank reconciliation and maintain accurate financial records.
Manage petty cash transactions and ensure proper documentation.
Assist in preparation of financial statements including Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss.
Maintain records of capital accounts and fixed assets.
Generate and verify tax invoices as per statutory requirements.
Coordinate with auditors and respond to audit queries.
Handle GST compliance including filing of GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and GSTR-9.
Manage TDS calculations, deductions, and returns.
Process statutory compliances such as PF, ESIC, and Professional Tax returns.
Monitor bank transactions, stock records, and reconcile discrepancies.
Assist in payment processing, fund transfers, and collections follow-ups.
Ensure accurate and timely data entry in accounting software.
Support in budget preparation and financial planning activities.
