Job Title: Accounts Assistant

Department: Accounts / Finance
Reporting To: Accounts Manager / Finance Manager

Job Summary

The Accounts Assistant is responsible for supporting day-to-day accounting operations, maintaining financial records, assisting in billing, payments, and ensuring accuracy in accounts and compliance with company policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain books of accounts, vouchers, and supporting documents

• Assist in preparation of invoices, bills, and receipts

• Record daily transactions in accounting software (Tally / ERP / Excel)

• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable

• Perform bank entries and assist in bank reconciliation statements

• Maintain cash book and petty cash records

• Assist in GST-related work (data preparation, filing support)

• Support month-end and year-end closing activities

• Coordinate with vendors and customers for payment follow-ups

• Ensure proper filing and documentation of financial records

• Assist auditors during internal and external audits

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent

• Basic knowledge of accounting principles

• Working knowledge of Tally, MS Excel, and accounting software

• Familiarity with GST and statutory compliance (preferred)

• Good numerical and analytical skills

• Attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• It is a Full Time అకౌంటెంట్ job for candidates with 0 - 6 months of experience.
