Accounts Executive – Job Description
An Accounts Executive is responsible for managing financial transactions, maintaining accounting records, preparing reports, and supporting the overall finance operations of an organization.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain and update financial records and accounting entries
Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable
Prepare invoices, vouchers, and bank reconciliations
Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting
Monitor expenses and ensure compliance with company policies
Coordinate with auditors, vendors, and clients regarding financial matters
Manage payroll and tax-related documentation if required
Ensure accurate data entry in accounting software such as Tally, SAP, or QuickBooks
Required Skills
Knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations
Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software
Strong numerical and analytical skills
Attention to detail and accuracy
Good communication and organizational abilities
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce
Experience in accounting or finance roles preferred
Certifications like CA Inter, CMA, or CPA are an advantage
