Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to support our finance department. In this role, you will assist with daily accounting tasks, maintain accurate financial records, and help prepare monthly financial reports. You will work closely with our senior accounting team, making this an excellent opportunity to grow your career and gain hands-on experience in corporate accounting.
Key Responsibilities
Data Entry & Bookkeeping: Record daily financial transactions, including accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), and general ledger entries.
Invoice Management: Process vendor invoices, verify expense reports, and follow up on outstanding client payments.
Bank Reconciliation: Assist in reconciling bank statements, credit card accounts, and ledger balances to ensure accuracy.
Financial Reporting: Help prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements under the supervision of senior accountants.
Tax & Compliance: Assist with basic tax filings, documentation, and gathering data for statutory audits.
Documentation: Maintain well-organized digital and physical financial records, contracts, and backup documentation.
Excel & Systems Management: Update and maintain project-tracking spreadsheets, financial models, and accounting software inputs.
