The Accounts Assistant will support the finance team in maintaining accurate records, handling routine accounting tasks, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. The role involves both clerical and accounting responsibilities, requiring attention to detail, organizational skills, and familiarity with accounting software.
Physical Filing & Documentation
Maintain and organize physical files of invoices, vouchers, receipts, and other financial documents.
Ensure proper indexing and retrieval of records for audit and compliance purposes.
Data Entry in Tally Prime
Record daily financial transactions in Tally Prime.
Assist in preparing ledgers, trial balances, and other routine reports.
Manual Register Maintenance
Update and maintain manual registers for cash, petty expenses, and other records as required.
Cross-check entries with system records for accuracy.
Administrative & Support Tasks
Run errands related to banking, courier, and office supplies.
Assist in preparing documents for statutory filings and compliance.
Support senior staff in day-to-day accounting and administrative duties.
Basic knowledge of accounting principles.
Proficiency in Tally Prime and MS Office (Excel, Word).
Strong organizational and filing skills.
Ability to handle routine clerical tasks with accuracy.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Willingness to perform field errands when required.
Minimum: Graduate in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent.
Prior experience in accounting support roles preferred but not mandatory.
