The Senior Accountant is responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial records, compliance with statutory requirements, and timely reporting. The role involves supervising junior staff, handling taxation, and supporting management with financial information.
Maintain complete books of accounts (Tally/ERP)
Finalize monthly, quarterly, and annual accounts
Prepare Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss Account
Handle GST compliance:
GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-2B reconciliation)
GST input credit reconciliation
Handle TDS compliance:
TDS calculation, returns, and challans
Manage accounts receivable & payable
Bank reconciliation statements (BRS)
Monitor cash flow and fund planning
Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and banks
Ensure statutory compliance (GST, TDS, Income Tax)
Assist in budgeting and cost control
Supervise and guide junior accounting staff
Maintain proper documentation and records
