Job Title: Accountant

Job Summary:

The Accountant is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, handling day-to-day accounting activities, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and tax regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Record daily financial transactions including payments, receipts, and petty cash

2. Maintain general ledger, journals, and account records

3. Prepare and manage invoices, vouchers, and reimbursement documentation

4. Handle petty cash management and perform regular cash reconciliation

5. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports

6. Monitor expenses and ensure effective budget control

7. Assist in internal and external audits by providing required financial documents

8. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, GST regulations, and organizational policies

9. Maintain proper, accurate, and organized filing of all financial records

10. Maintain stage-wise production-related all entries

11. Perform accounting work using Tally software, including data entry and reporting

12. Handle GST return filing, TDS, invoice preparation, and general office-related work

Education & Experience:

1. Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred)

2. Prior experience in accounting or bookkeeping is an advantage

Location: Andheri East

Working Hours: 10.00 to 7.00 (Monday to Saturday)
