Job Summary

The Accountant will support the Accounts and Finance function by handling day-to-day accounting operations, statutory compliance, cost tracking, and coordination with internal departments. The role is crucial for maintaining accurate financial records in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Finance Operations

• Maintain books of accounts including journal entries, vouchers, and ledgers

• Assist in preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

• Handle accounts payable and receivable functions

• Monitor customer outstanding, ageing reports, and follow-ups

Manufacturing & Cost Accounting

• Assist in tracking raw material consumption, production costs, and inventory valuation

• Coordinate with stores and production departments for stock reconciliation

• Support job costing, process costing, and variance analysis

Statutory Compliance

• Assist in GST compliance including returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, etc.)

• Coordinate for TDS, PF, ESI, Professional Tax, and other statutory filings

• Support audits (internal, statutory, GST) and provide required data

Payroll & Salary Coordination

• Assist in payroll processing and verification of attendance and leave data

• Coordinate with HR for salary sheets, deductions, and compliance

• Ensure timely salary disbursement and statutory payments

MIS & Reporting

• Prepare financial MIS, expense reports, and management summaries

• Maintain accurate records in ERP/accounting software

• Support budgeting and forecasting activities

Coordination & Controls

• Coordinate with sales, purchase, production, and logistics teams

• Ensure adherence to company financial policies and internal controls

• Assist in bank reconciliation, cash flow monitoring, and fund management

Key Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and taxation

• Understanding of manufacturing and inventory accounting

• Proficiency in Tally / ERP systems and MS Excel

• Good analytical and problem-solving skills

• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines

Qualifications

• B.Com / M.Com / CA-Inter / CMA-Inter (preferred)

Experience

• 3–6 years of experience in accounts, preferably in plastic manufacturing or similar industry

• It is a Full Time అకౌంటెంట్ job for candidates with 5 - 6+ years Experience.
