Job Title: Junior Accountant

Location: Pune- Satara Road, Pune
Salary: ₹25,000 – ₹27,000 (In-hand) + PF Benefits + Medical Insurance

🔎 Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Junior Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations, including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, GST compliance, and monthly closing activities. The candidate should have hands-on experience in Tally ERP and strong knowledge of GST and reconciliation processes.

📋 Key Responsibilities

🔹 Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Customer receipts accounting & tracking of invoice rejections

• Follow-up with customers for outstanding and delayed payments

• Verification of rate reduction for debit notes from customer & accounting

🔹 Accounts Payable (AP)

• Preparation of bsnk reconciliation & creditor ageing report

• Employee expense verification & booking

• Monthly prepaid entries & expense provisions

• Bank reconciliation statements

🔹 GST & Compliance

• Filing of GSTR-1

• Monthly Reconciliation of GSTR-2A

• Matching purchase/sales data with GST returns

• Passing input-output GST adjustment entries

• Checking 26AS & TDS receivable entries

🔹 Finalisation & Closing

• Passing month-end entries (Provision, Accrual, Prepaid, Write-offs)

• Bank & loan reconciliation

• Ensuring accuracy in purchase/sales figures

• Assisting in balance sheet finalization

💻 Technical Skills Required

• Strong working knowledge of Tally Prime

• Good knowledge of GST & TDS

• Bank Reconciliation

• MS Excel (Basic formulas, VLOOKUP preferred)

• Basic knowledge of Payroll & Professional Tax

🎯 Desired Candidate Profile

• B.Com / M.Com preferred

• 1–4 years of accounting experience

• Strong attention to detail

• Good communication skills

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
