Job Summary
An Assistant Accountant supports the accounting department by handling daily financial transactions, maintaining records and assisting in billing and bank-related activities. The role ensures accurate financial documentation and smooth accounting operations.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain day-to-day accounting records and entries.
Prepare invoices, bills, and payment vouchers.
Maintain cash book, ledger, and financial records.
Required Skills
Knowledge of accounting principles and bookkeeping.
Basic understanding of GST, TDS, and taxation.
Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software like Tally.
Good numerical and analytical skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Time management and organizational skills.
Qualifications
I.Com / B.Com / Accounting-related degree or diploma.
Knowledge of Tally Prime software preferred.
Experience
Fresher to 2 years of experience in accounting or finance.
