Job Title: Accountant – MBT Logistics
MBT Logistics is looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. We are a dedicated own-fleet transport company, and we need someone who can keep our financial gears turning as smoothly as our trucks.
Key Responsibilities
Fleet Financials: Manage daily accounting tasks including accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations.
Expense Tracking: Monitor fuel expenses, maintenance costs, and driver settlements.
Statutory Compliance: Handle GST filings, TDS, and ensure timely payment of taxes.
Documentation: Maintain digital and physical records of all transport-related invoices and vouchers.
Requirements
Experience: 2–4 years in accounting (experience in the Logistics/Transport sector is a major plus).
Software: Proficiency in TMS, ERP, Tally and MS Excel (Advanced).
Education: B.Com or M.Com degree.
Skills: Strong understanding of GST, TDS, and freight accounting.
