Accountant

Job Summary

Shoption Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, taxation, and compliance activities. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting principles, GST, TDS, and financial documentation.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and oversee daily accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

Handle GST returns, TDS filings, and statutory compliance

Reconcile bank statements and monitor company expenses

Maintain accurate financial records and documentation

Assist in budget preparation and financial planning

Coordinate with auditors during internal and external audits

Ensure timely payroll entries and expense tracking

Monitor outstanding payments and follow up for receivables

Maintain compliance with company policies and financial regulations

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce (B.Com/M.Com)

Minimum 2–7 years of experience in accounting or finance

Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and Indian taxation rules

Proficiency in Tally, Excel, and accounting software

Good analytical and problem-solving skills

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Ability to handle confidential financial data

Preferred Skills
