Accountant – Job Description

Position: Accountant
Location: Pune, Maharashtra
Experience: 2–5 Years
Industry Preference: Construction / Infrastructure

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting activities, maintain accurate financial records, and support financial reporting and statutory compliance for our infrastructure and tunnel construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day accounting entries and financial records.

• Prepare and maintain ledgers, journals, vouchers, and supporting documents.

• Process payments, receipts, and bank reconciliations.

• Prepare monthly MIS reports, financial reports, and cost statements.

• Handle GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory accounting compliances.

• Assist in audit activities, account finalization, and documentation.

• Coordinate with site teams, vendors, and Head Office for accounting-related matters.

• Support budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and financial analysis.

• Ensure accuracy and timely completion of accounting activities.

• Maintain proper documentation and records as per company requirements.

Requirements

• B.Com / M.Com or equivalent qualification.

• 2–5 years of relevant experience in accounting.

• Experience in Construction / Infrastructure industry will be preferred.

• Good knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliances.

• Proficiency in Tally Prime / ERP.

• Good knowledge of MS Excel, preferably Advanced Excel.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Good communication and organizational skills.

• Candidate based in Pune will be preferred.

• It is a Full Time అకౌంటెంట్ job for candidates with 2 - 5 years of experience.
