About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Accountant / Junior Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting activities and maintain accurate financial records.

The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of basic accounting principles, bookkeeping, GST/TDS, MS Excel, and preferably Tally/Tally Prime.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day accounting records and financial transactions.

• Prepare and maintain invoices, bills, receipts, and payment records.

• Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).

• Maintain cash and bank records and assist with basic bank reconciliation.

• Record sales, purchases, expenses, and other business transactions.

• Assist with GST, TDS, and other basic statutory compliance.

• Maintain proper accounting documentation and financial files.

• Assist in preparing basic financial reports and statements.

• Coordinate with internal teams regarding payments, expenses, and required documentation.

• Ensure accuracy of financial data and timely completion of accounting tasks.

• Maintain confidentiality of financial and business information.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in B.Com, M.Com, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Basic knowledge of Accounting Principles and Bookkeeping.

• Good understanding of Debit & Credit.

• Knowledge of Journal Entries, Ledger, Trial Balance, P&L and Balance Sheet.

• Basic knowledge of GST and TDS.

• Good knowledge of MS Excel / Google Sheets.

• Familiarity with Tally / Tally Prime or other accounting software is preferred.

• Good numerical and analytical skills.

• Strong attention to detail.

• Good communication and organizational skills.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle financial information responsibly.
