Position: Branch Accountant

Location: Coimbatore

Preferred Malayalee candidates from Palakkad or Coimbatore

Gender: Male

Qualification: B.Com qualification (mandatory)

Experience: Min. 2years of experience in accounting or finance + proficiency in any accounting software

Salary: 20k-24k (Depends on performance) + statutory allowances

Interview mode: Face to face at Ernakulam corporate office

Skills: Ability to work independently or in a team environment. Intermediate level of proficiency with MS Office software.

Roles & Responsibilities:

The Branch Accountant is responsible for overseeing the financial integrity and regulatory compliance of branch-level accounting operations, ensuring absolute accuracy between system records, physical cash, and bank reconciliations. The role focuses on verifying financial documentation for NBFC loan fund transfers and Forex operations against corporate guidelines before final execution. Additionally, the executive manages expense tracking, ensures proper account head allocation, and maintains seamless reporting lines with the Head Office to escalate operational anomalies.

MAJOR JOB ACTIVITIES:

1. Ensure cash balance as per system (Software & Manual register)

2. NBFC Loan fund transfer through Lcode.

3. Verify loan documents with guidelines prior to fund transfer.

4. Verify the FOREX documents and ensure compliance with guidelines.

5. Verify the expenses bills with cash and GST if any

6. Ensure expenses are booked in correct account heads.

7. Check and ensure bank accounts are correctly reconciled.

8. Ensure all expenses/receipts/assets/liability/suspense/sundry receivables/expenses payable accounts are properly accounted and closed regular.

9. Report head office (accounts) if any abnormality observed/noted.

10. Ensure all receipt / payments are with proper documents.

11. Other assignments entrusted from head office time to time.

12. May be required to complete other duties as assigned.
