JOB DESCRIPTION – ACCOUNTANT

Company: Jai Ba Metals
Location: Sector 24, Faridabad
Salary: ₹15,000 – ₹20,000 per month
Experience Required: 1–5 Years
Working Hours: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
Qualification: Graduate and above

Job Responsibilities

We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Accountant to manage the day-to-day accounting and financial records of our company.

The candidate will be responsible for:

• Maintaining daily accounts and bookkeeping records.

• Preparing and entering sales and purchase bills/invoices.

• Managing cash, bank and payment entries.

• Maintaining customer and supplier ledgers.

• Performing bank reconciliation and checking account balances.

• Following up and maintaining records of receivables and payables.

• Handling GST-related data, invoices and basic compliance records.

• Preparing reports and maintaining accounting data in MS Excel.

• Coordinating with management and CA whenever required.

• Maintaining proper filing and records of bills, vouchers and other documents.

• Assisting in other day-to-day office and accounting work.

Skills Required

• Good knowledge of MS Excel.

• Strong understanding of Bookkeeping and basic accounting.

• Knowledge of Tally/ERP software will be preferred.

• Basic knowledge of GST and invoicing.

• Good numerical and analytical skills.

• Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.

Candidate Requirements

The candidate should be responsible, honest, well-organized and capable of handling accounting work independently. Experience in a manufacturing, trading or industrial company will be an added advantage.
