Key Responsibilities
Maintain day-to-day accounting transactions including sales, purchases, receipts, and payments.
Prepare and maintain ledger accounts, cash book, bank book, and journal entries.
Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable efficiently.
Perform bank reconciliation statements (BRS) regularly.
Manage vendor payments, customer collections, and outstanding follow-ups.
Prepare and process purchase orders, invoices, debit notes, and credit notes.
Maintain records of raw material purchases, production costs, and inventory valuation.
Monitor and track manufacturing costs, overheads, and operational expenses.
Assist in cost accounting and product costing analysis.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Ensure timely compliance with GST, TDS, PF, ESI, and other statutory filings.
Coordinate with auditors, bankers, and tax consultants during audits and assessments.
Verify payroll-related accounting entries and salary disbursement records.
Maintain fixed asset records and depreciation schedules.
Support budget preparation and financial forecasting.
Ensure proper documentation and filing of all financial records.
Assist management in financial analysis and cost-saving initiatives.
