**Senior Accountant – Job Description**

* Manage day-to-day accounting and financial operations.

* Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports.

* Handle general ledger, journal entries, and account reconciliations.

* Perform month-end and year-end closing activities.

* Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax laws, and statutory regulations.

* Coordinate internal and external audits.

* Prepare budgets, forecasts, and MIS reports.

* Monitor cash flow, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.

* Support payroll processing and maintain financial controls.

* Proficient in ERP/accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

* Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance; CA Inter/CMA preferred.

* 5–8 years of relevant accounting experience with strong analytical and communication skills.
