Job Summary
We are looking for a qualified and experienced Chartered Accountant (CA) with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in Finance & Accounting. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of Record-to-Report (R2R) processes and hands-on experience working with SAP.
The candidate will be responsible for managing accounting activities, month-end and year-end closing, financial reporting, reconciliations, and ensuring accuracy and compliance in financial transactions.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and execute end-to-end R2R (Record-to-Report) activities.
Handle month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial closing processes.
Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, provisions, and adjustments.
Perform general ledger accounting and account reconciliations.
Review balance sheet accounts and ensure timely resolution of outstanding items.
Prepare financial reports and management reports as required.
Ensure accurate accounting in accordance with applicable accounting standards and company policies.
Work on SAP for accounting transactions, reporting, reconciliations, and financial close activities.
Coordinate with internal teams, auditors, and other stakeholders for finance-related requirements.
Support statutory, internal, and external audits.
Identify process gaps and support continuous improvement and automation initiatives.
Ensure compliance with internal controls and finance processes.
Analyze financial data and investigate variances or discrepancies.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.
Minimum 2 years of post-qualification/relevant experience in Finance & Accounting.
Strong understanding of R2R / General Ledger accounting.
Hands-on or working knowledge of SAP, preferably SAP FI/CO.
Good understanding of month-end and year-end closing.
Strong knowledge of journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, provisions, and financial reporting.
Good knowledge of accounting principles and financial controls.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and stakeholder-management skills.
Proficiency in MS Excel and financial reporting tools.
Preferred Skills
Experience in an SAP-driven finance environment.
Experience with process improvement, automation, or finance transformation projects.
Knowledge of Ind AS / IFRS would be an advantage.
Experience in handling audits and financial reporting.
Exposure to multinational / shared-service / corporate finance environments will be an added advantage.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a qualified CA with 2+ years of experience, strong R2R and accounting knowledge, and practical exposure to SAP. The candidate should be detail-oriented, comfortable working with deadlines, and capable of independently managing financial close and reporting activities.
