Accountant Assistant – Job Opening

We are looking for an Accountant Assistant to join our team at Canary Resorts.
The role involves managing day-to-day financial transactions, preparing accurate financial records, and ensuring compliance with applicable tax regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day accounting entries in books of accounts

• Record purchase, sales, receipts, and payment vouchers

• Handle cash book and bank book entries

• Perform Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS)

• Assist in preparation of monthly and yearly accounts

• Support GST work, including data preparation, returns, and compliance

• Maintain invoices, bills, and supporting documents

• Follow up on outstanding payments and receivables

• Coordinate with auditors and senior staff for account verification

• Ensure accuracy and compliance with company accounting policies

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce or a related field

• Experience: 6 months to 2 years

• Good knowledge of Accounting principles

• Proficiency in Tally and MS Excel

• Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail
