Role:
An accountant is responsible for managing a company’s money, expenses, income, and financial records accurately.
Main Responsibilities:
• Record daily financial transactions (sales, purchases, expenses).
• Prepare and verify bills, invoices, and receipts.
• Check bank statements and perform reconciliation.
• Prepare and file GST, TDS, and tax returns.
• Handle salary, payroll, PF/ESI related work.
• Create monthly and yearly financial reports and balance sheets.
• Assist in budget planning and cost control for the company.
Required Skills:
• Basic knowledge of accounting, GST, Tally, and Excel.
• Strong with numbers and detail-oriented.
• Ability to complete work on time.
• Commerce background (B.Com, M.Com) is helpful.
Average Salary in India:
• Fresher: ₹18,500 – ₹28,500 per month
• 1–3 years experience: ₹18,000 – ₹28,000 per month
• Senior accountant: ₹40,000+ per month
