Senior Oracle Database Administrator

Oracle DBA III Job Description: We are looking for an experienced Oracle DBA with 5–7 years of hands-on experience in managing, maintaining, and optimizing Oracle database environments. The candidate should have strong expertise in database installation, configuration, backup & recovery, performance tuning, patching, and high availability solutions. Key Responsibilities: Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain Oracle Database environments (11g/12c/19c or higher). Perform database administration tasks including: User management Tablespace management Schema management Security administration Monitor database performance and implement tuning recommendations. Manage backup and recovery using RMAN. Handle database cloning, migration, and refresh activities. Implement and support Oracle Data Guard, RAC, and ASM environments. Perform database patching and upgrades with minimal downtime. Troubleshoot database issues, incidents, and production outages. Work with application teams for release deployments and performance improvements. Ensure database availability, reliability, and disaster recovery readiness. Create and maintain technical documentation and SOPs. Participate in on-call support and maintenance activities. Preferred Skills : Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. Good communication and stakeholder management. Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, or Azure is a plus.
