Job Description

SAP Basis Administrator Perform SAP system administration activities across Development, Quality, and Production environments. Monitor SAP systems proactively and resolve technical issues to ensure high availability. Execute SAP installations, upgrades, kernel upgrades, support pack implementation, and patch management. Perform SAP client administration, system refreshes, client copies, and transport management. Manage SAP user administration, roles, authorizations, and security-related activities. Monitor and optimize SAP system performance, database health, and background jobs. Handle SAP HANA database administration tasks including backup, recovery, and monitoring. Configure and maintain Transport Management System (TMS). Troubleshoot SAP Basis-related incidents, service requests, and root cause analysis. Perform system health checks and capacity planning activities. Support SAP audit, compliance, and security requirements. Coordinate with functional, development, infrastructure, and database teams for issue resolution. Prepare and maintain system documentation and operational procedures. Participate in on-call support and scheduled maintenance activities.
