Team Leader – Personal Loan & Overdraft Process

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Team Leader to manage the Personal Loan and Overdraft process. The ideal candidate will lead a team of sales and operations executives, drive business growth, ensure operational efficiency, and deliver excellent customer service while maintaining compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and motivate a team to achieve monthly sales and productivity targets.

• Monitor team performance and provide regular coaching, feedback, and performance reviews.

• Oversee the end-to-end processing of personal loans and overdraft applications.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, banking regulations, and quality standards.

• Resolve customer queries and escalations promptly and professionally.

• Coordinate with credit, operations, and other internal teams to ensure timely loan processing and disbursement.

• Analyse performance reports and identify opportunities to improve productivity and process efficiency.

• Conduct team meetings and training sessions to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.

• Ensure accurate documentation and adherence to turnaround time (TAT) requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline.

• 2–5 years of experience in personal loans, overdraft, or retail banking, with prior team handling experience preferred.

• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Knowledge of loan processing, banking products, and compliance requirements.

• Ability to achieve targets in a fast-paced environment.

• Proficiency in MS Office and CRM or loan management systems.
