Role Summary
The Sales Executive is responsible for direct sales, lead management, client interaction, and order closure for low voltage products and solution-based automation projects. The role requires a proactive field presence, strong client engagement, and disciplined follow-up to achieve revenue and margin targets.
Key Responsibilities
1. Direct Sales & Business Generation
Generate new business through cold calling, field visits, networking, and references
Identify and approach potential clients across commercial, industrial, institutional, and government sectors
Promote and sell low voltage products and customized automation solutions
Achieve assigned monthly and quarterly sales targets (value & margin)
2. Lead Management (Office & Digital Leads)
Follow up on leads generated via website, email campaigns, social media, and marketing activities
Qualify leads by understanding client requirements, budget, and timelines
Ensure prompt response and professional communication to improve conversion rates
Coordinate with technical and estimation teams for solution design and proposals
3. Client Interaction & Requirement Analysis
Conduct client meetings to understand technical and commercial requirements
Recommend suitable products or customized solutions aligned with client needs
Present techno-commercial proposals and negotiate terms within company guidelines
Act as the single point of contact during the pre-sales phase
4. Order Closure & Revenue Growth
Close orders through effective negotiation on pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules
Ensure minimum margin achievement while remaining competitive
Upsell and cross-sell complementary products and services
Drive repeat business and long-term client relationships
5. Internal Coordination
Coordinate with project operations, procurement, accounts, and technical teams
Ensure clear scope, BOQ, and documentation before order confirmation
Support smooth handover from sales to execution
6. Market Intelligence & Reporting
Track competitor activities, pricing trends, and market movements
Maintain accurate CRM records for leads, follow-ups, and pipeline
Submit regular sales activity and performance reports
7. Customer Relationship Management
Build strong relationships with consultants, architects, builders, facility managers, and decision-makers
Address client concerns promptly in coordination with internal teams
Generate references and repeat inquiries through high customer satisfaction
8. Compliance & Professional Conduct
Follow company policies, sales processes, and ethical standards
Maintain confidentiality of pricing, client data, and company information
Represent the company professionally in all client interactions
Desired Candidate Profile
Qualification
Graduate / Diploma in any discipline (Engineering preferred)
Experience
2–5 years of experience in B2B field sales
Experience in low voltage systems, automation, or technology solution selling preferred
Skills & Competencies
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Ability to understand technical products and solution selling
Target-driven and self-motivated
Proficiency in CRM and MS Office tools
Willingness to travel extensively for field sales
