Key Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Team Leadership & Development:
Guide & Mentor: Train, motivate, and develop a team of equity advisors/dealers on market dynamics, products, and client skills.
Performance Management: Set daily/monthly targets, review advisor performance, and provide coaching for productivity.
Conflict Resolution: Address team conflicts promptly to maintain a positive work environment.
2. Sales & Revenue Generation:
Target Achievement: Drive overall branch/team revenue through brokerage and cross-selling other financial products.
Strategy: Develop and implement sales plans and promotional activities.
Client Acquisition: Build relationships with high-net-worth individuals (HNIs) and corporate clients.
3. Client Relationship & Advisory:
High-Level Support: Handle complex client queries and provide advisory services on asset allocation, risk appetite, and market trends.
Proactive Service: Ensure existing clients receive proactive, high-quality service.
Bank Relations: Maintain strong ties with partner banks.
4. Operations & Compliance:
Reporting: Prepare and update MIS reports, sales reports, and other business documentation.
Market Knowledge: Stay updated on market trends, regulations, and best practices, sharing knowledge with the team.
Compliance: Ensure adherence to regulatory standards in all activities.
5. Market Expertise:
Deep Understanding: Possess strong knowledge of capital markets, equities, derivatives (options/futures), and investment strategies.
Advisory Focus: Manage micro-level advisory, ensuring quality advice and corrective measures for clients.
